A year later and I finally update this site… We have finished recording 14 songs and are just awaiting the final part of the processing before we can get them out to you.
Demonstrating Disasters is out for free download, or you an pick up a CD copy of it here or a limited edition CD Vinyl version here. We have a kind of a fuller show this Saturday, supporting our friends, Passerines, at Ryan’s Bar, Stoke Newington. Tickets are £3 on the door and it starts at 8. Boogie!

Until next year.

Here’s what has been going down at Wolf Choir HQ:

  • I’ve been playing in London over the past few and there’s a slew of more shows coming up. Come hang.
  • A dear friend bought me new tees to sell as a gift, designed by Alex from We Three Club. Very limited, only 25 which come with a hand numbered label. It’s summer, maybe you might want one on your back?
  • We’ve started pre-production… again. For real this time. Not that the last time wasn’t for real, but due to scheduling conflicts everything kind of became nothing. We have a tentative date set to record 14 tracks in the mighty Holy Mountain Studios. I have no idea what will become of these songs, but I hope that each and everyone one of these songs will make their way to you as either a CD, vinyl or digital download. Maybe all 3? Doubtful, but once complete, we can start bringing some full band shows to a town near you… or just in London. I am very proud of how these songs are shaping; some old, some new; it’s just great to finally hear them being played as they are in my head.
  • Demonstrating Disasters: over a year ago I started recording a little 5 track acoustic EP. Dave Woolf, from Corporal Machine and the Bombers, kindly played some lapsteel and guitar on it at various points when our calendars allowed us to. Its finally being mixed and mastered at the moment and will be available on a free download or a limited edition run of 100 CDr and 10 vinyl CDrs on Hearts & Stars Records.

I think that’s all I can give you right now.
Stay summery!

This Friday, February 25th, I shall be playing at the King & Queen, just off Oxford Street. It’s a small and highly intimate show and also free. Pop along if you can.

The radio session for Phoenix FM I took part in shall be aired on March 2nd between 10-11pm. Catch it on 98.0FM or Thank you so much to all the guys involved – Phoenix FM & Creative – they were recording bands for over 24 hours, one of which was Imogen Heap!

After which I shall be heading down to the Windmill, Brixton on March 7th to support Oh No Oh My! Tickets are £7 plus booking from here

And, just in case you missed it, my Ltd Edition Valentine’s Day cover song it up for a few more days over at here

I’m blessed and privileged to be supporting the wonderful  Oh No Oh My at the Windmill, Brixton March 7th. Second Soul Co. shall also be playing. Tickets are £7 that you can pick up in advanced here. If you haven’t had the chance to ever catch Oh No Oh My before, try to catch them on this tour, they’re not to be missed.

Currently I’m in the process of piecing together an EP, due for release in March, titled Demonstrating Disasters. This will be available for free download or on a limited run CD.

I have a couple of radio sessions coming up; first, I shall be performing 3 songs for Phoenix FM as part of their 24 hour band project. Second, The Ivy Leaf Agreement – a pre-mixed early cut from the Demonstrating Disasters EP – shall be played on Tom Robinson’s BBC Radio 6 show, Fresh On The Net.

It’s almost spring, people!

Just in time for Christmas, we’ve managed to get printed up 50 limited edition Wolf Choir tote bags! Designed by my good friend Jon Daulby and printed by the dudes and dudettes at the awesome Get A Grip screen printers. Not only do we now have totes, but there’s also new badges up for grabs too!
